CONSULTING, TRAINING, AND IMPLEMENTATION OF RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE (RCM2) FOR VUNG ANG 1 THERMAL POWER PLANT

From May 12 to 15, 2025, under the cooperation framework with PetroVietnam Power Corporation – Technical Service Center (PV Power TSC), Khang Truong Thinh Co., Ltd successfully conducted a 3-day basic training course on Reliability Centered Maintenance II (RCM2™) at Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant, targeted at technical management and evaluator staff.

The training course provided extensive knowledge and methodologies on reliability-based maintenance management, facilitating a shift from traditional maintenance to modern asset management that synchronizes maintenance, operation, and engineering.

Course objectives include:

• Enhancing awareness of the importance of managing asset failure consequences effectively and systematically.
• Understanding and applying the specialized RCM2 language in maintenance, operation, and engineering activities.
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate maintenance and operation strategies to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Preparing technical expertise to participate in RCM2 analysis programs as professional consultants.
• Laying a solid foundation for participants aiming to attend advanced training or become Aladon-certified RCM2 Instructors.

This training significantly improved the professional capacity and awareness of modern maintenance management for PV Power TSC personnel, contributing to increased reliability and operational efficiency of equipment at Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant.
